Marriott International expanded its luxury footprint in Indonesia with the opening of The Sira, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa on Lombok’s Sire Beach.
The oceanfront resort, which is roughly a 90-minute drive from Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Airport, features 46 suites and 14 pool villas.
The property’s top-tier accommodations include a 15,070-square-foot Beach House with three bedrooms and a private pool and a two-story Presidential Suite, which spans approximately 10,760 square feet and includes a rooftop infinity pool.
Dining venues include all-day restaurant The Island’s Table, poolside Asian eatery Sija and Mediterranean-inspired concept Medsa. The property’s bar, Glassary, serves cocktails made with local spirits.
Other amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, a two-level infinity pool and a spa that specializes in traditional Indonesian treatments. The resort also features event space able to accommodate up to 100 guests.
The opening marks the third Luxury Collection property in Indonesia, joining locations in Bali and Labuan Bajo.
The Luxury Collection currently has more than 115 hotels and resorts within its global portfolio.
