Air Canada has launched free Wi-Fi for its Aeroplan loyalty members, the carrier announced Thursday.
The service, sponsored by Bell, currently is available gate-to-gate on Air Canada, Rouge and Express flights in North America, Mexico and the Caribbean operated with Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft.
Certification and Wi-Fi installation on Bombardier Q400 aircraft operating at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is anticipated for later this year, according to Air Canada. The carrier expects to expand free Wi-Fi for Aeroplan members to intercontinental flights in 2026.
Air Canada announced its free Wi-Fi plan in December 2024.
