A Southwest Airlines pilot was arrested on Wednesday morning at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. The airline found another pilot and the flight departed to Chicago-Midway airport nearly five hours late. He was stopped at the airport’s TSA checkpoint, and airport police called, because his breath smelled of alcohol.
Boston’s Logan Airport will get an American Express Centurion lounge, and it’s expected to open in 2027. The agreement was approved by the airport’s board on Thursday, and will require building out a new structure to accommodate a two-story lounge totaling 20,000 square feet near gate C10.
