The card is likely subject to Chase’s 5/24 rule, making only those with fewer than 5 new cards in the past 24 months eligible for approval.
Now, my primary hotel chain is Hyatt, but IHG has a huge footprint and whether your second chain is Marriott, IHG, or Hilton it’s good to have their card for the status that comes with it and in this case because 4th night free helps your points go further.
