G Adventures unveils more than 100 new trips for 2025

G Adventures is adding more than 100 trips this year, marking what the company calls its biggest new product drive yet.

The Toronto-based tour operator has added trips to its Local Living, Solo-ish, Geluxe, Classic and 18-to-Thirtysomething collections.

“We are being very intentional about new product development, noting regions where our offerings can benefit from more flexibility as well as expansion into regions where we haven’t been in the past,” said product vice president Yves Marceau.

Among the new offerings:

• Peru’s Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu by Train itinerary will enable guests to visit Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World — without the hike. The seven-day journey also features the Sacred Valley, Moray and the Maras Salt Mines.

• New itineraries in the Solo-ish Collection, designed for those traveling alone but who also want connection, include Uzbekistan and Cambodia. The 12-day Uzbekistan trip will bring travelers to what G Adventures describes as a country that features a “rich history, vibrant bazaars and jaw-dropping architecture that feels straight out of a storybook.” The 10-day Cambodia itinerary is a version of the G Adventures’ Classic product, which includes time spent in Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom.

• Saying that cold weather “is so hot right now,” the G Adventures is adding a pair of winter season offerings. The Winter in Finland: Lapland and Northern Lights takes customers on a seven-day trip through Lapland. Highlights include an overnight train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi, dog sledding and meeting Indigenous reindeer herders. Active Northern Japan: Winter in Hokkaido, meanwhile, starts in Tokyo and ends in Sapporo. The nine-day trip will take guests on a “snowshoe adventure” through the Shiretoko Five Lakes and Primeval Forest. Travelers will also visit the Ainu Kotan, one of Japan’s last Indigenous communities.
