Hilton’s Costa Rica Waldorf Astoria opening in spring

Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria flag is targeting a spring opening for its new Costa Rica resort.

The Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique, located along Costa Rica’s northern Pacific coast, is accepting bookings for stays starting May 1.

The 188-room property will be home to six dining outlets, including a signature restaurant showcasing local produce and seasonal cuisine and an outpost of the brand’s Peacock Alley venue, which will serve cocktails and light bites.

The resort will also feature multilevel pools, a gym with a movement studio and a Waldorf Astoria Spa.

The Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique will join the luxury brand’s portfolio of 34 properties globally.

Update: The Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique pushed back its opening date to May 1.
