German discount airline Condor will discontinue service on four of its 13 U.S. routes next summer.
The move comes after a German court ruling last month that Lufthansa will no longer be required to maintain an agreement granting Condor and its customers commercial access to European feeder routes through Frankfurt, where Condor is based.
“Due to this, Condor is forced to review and adjust its summer 2025 flight schedule in the U.S. and Canada in advance of the peak summer booking season,” the airline explained.
Condor is doing away with its summer routes between Frankfurt and Baltimore, Minneapolis, San Antonio and Phoenix. In Canada it has suspended service between Frankfurt and Edmonton and Halifax.
Condor now plans to offer nine U.S. routes next summer, all from Frankfurt, serving New York JFK, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Anchorage and Portland, Ore. To Canada, the carrier will continue flying between Frankfurt and Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.
