The Rosewood Amsterdam is taking reservations for stays starting June 1.Â
Rosewood’s first hotel in the Netherlands occupies Amsterdam’s former Palace of Justice, which was built in 1665 and is located in the city’s UNESCO-listed Canal District.Â
The 134-room Rosewood Amsterdam will be home to three restaurants and bars, an in-house distillery, a 2,400-square-foot event ballroom and a spa with fitness center and indoor swimming pool.
Guests can travel the city’s canals via the hotel’s private Salon Boat.
Rates at the Rosewood Amsterdam start at around 1,200 euros ($2,228) per night.
According to Rosewood, the hotel will be among the last new hotel developments permitted in a historic monument within Amsterdam’s city center, after the city tightened restrictions on new hotel construction last year.Â
