Luxury travel agency consortium Virtuoso has put Cheryl Bunker’s sole focus on membership and Cory Hagopian’s on partner relations.
Bunker, previously Virtuoso’s vice president of global member relations, has been named senior vice president of global memberships. She has been with Virtuoso since 2007.
In her expanded role, Bunker will oversee and set the strategic direction of Virtuoso membership around the world.
Hagopian was most recently Virtuoso’s senior vice president of sales and partnerships. He joined the consortium in 2022.
In his new role, his sole focus will be on Virtuoso’s preferred-partner strategy across all categories: hotels and resorts, cruise lines, tourism boards, alliances, tour operators, air, car, insurance, and the Ultra-High-Net-Worth vertical.Virtuoso said Hagopian’s new role is part of its broader strategy to create regional partnership teams to better engage with suppliers.
Both Bunker and Hagopian report to COO Brad Bourland.
“Cheryl’s full-time focus on the strategic growth of our global membership allows Cory to fully dedicate his attention to delivering even greater partner value, while elevating engagement and overall network satisfaction through operational excellence,” Bourland said in a release.
