Hilton has opened the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique. Located on Costa Rica’s northern Pacific Coast, the resort is part of new luxury resort community Punta Cacique.
The resort has 148 guestrooms and 40 suites. Twenty-two of the suites have plunge pools.
The development also has 20-plus Waldorf Astoria residences open or in development.
The Hilton-managed property is home to regionally inspired dining venues, including signature restaurant La Finca, all-day eatery Tico-Tica and a Peacock Alley bar serving small plates and cocktails with local flavors, from raw sugarcane to Costa Rican rum.
Other amenities include a multilevel pool complex, kids and teens clubs and a spa incorporating indigenous healing traditions and locally sourced ingredients like volcanic clay, cacao and native botanicals. A stretch of beach along the Guanacaste coast offers loungers, cabanas, and umbrellas.
The resort offers 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including grand and junior ballrooms and an event lawn.
Hilton said the resort is a 25-minute drive from Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia.
