World Travel names Matt King president, Alex Eaton CEO

World Travel president Alex Eaton has been named CEO, with executive vice president Matt King taking over the role of president.

Eaton’s focus in his new role will be strategic initiatives, including expanding and growing the World Travel Vacation Department.

King, whose career with World Travel started 17 years ago in a business-development role, will take on expanded responsibilities across the company.

“Throughout his tenure at World Travel, Matt has demonstrated exceptional strategic acumen, unwavering dedication and a deep understanding of the travel industry,” Eaton said.

World Travel is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The travel agency is No. 70 on Travel Weekly’s Power List.
